Para ito sa sakripisyo naming lahat. Hindi lang ‘to tungkol sa costume, tungkol ‘to sa lahat ng tiniis namin para mabuo siya.

Sa mga magulang na nagalit kasi gabi na naman kami umuwi, sa ambagan na akala mo tapos na pero may pahabol pa sa lunes.

Mano-manong tinahi ang napakalaking kapa, tatlong araw na halos hindi tumayo ang painter para lang mabigyan ng kulay ang lahat kahit na ang likod niya parang susuko na. Mga kamay at buhok namin laging may pintura, kahit sa pagkain may bahid pa ng pintura. At oo, may mga gabing gutom na kami—hindi na umaalis sa school para gumawa ng costume, hindi na muna umuwi para kumain. Tinitiis ang kumakalam na sikmura kasi mas inuuna matapos ang dapat tapusin.

Si Harris, kabado lagi. In denial pa nung una, ayaw talagang sumali. Pero lumaban pa rin. Yung “kalabaw” naming nabunot ang number 1, walang reklamo, hmmmp dapat lang, binuhat ang responsibility kahit mabigat.

At sa gitna ng lahat, Diyos ang gumabay at nagprotekta sa amin. Siya ang nagbigay ng inspirasyon at lakas nung pakiramdam namin ubos na. Kaya kung may bunga man ang lahat ng puyat, gutom, pagod, at sakripisyo, ito na ‘yon. Hindi lang panalo, kundi patunay na may saysay ang bawat tiniis namin. ✨
