A Prayer for Our Brothers and Sisters Affected by , and for Refuge Amid

O God, our Refuge and Strength, we lift to You our brothers and sisters in Cebu City, Cebu Province, Negros Occidental, Negros Oriental, Agusan Del Sur, and other affected areas across the Visayas, who are facing the deep pain and loss brought by Typhoon Tino.

Lord, You see every home buried in mud, every field washed away, and every heart weary from fear and sleepless nights. Yet even in the storm’s aftermath, we believe You remain sovereign—our shelter, our comfort, and our peace.

Father of mercies and God of all comfort, as the psalmist cried, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble,” we come before You now on behalf of those who suffer. You Who heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds, we pray that You wrap every family in Your embrace, bringing calm to their troubled hearts. Let Your comfort reach those who mourn, Your strength uplift those rebuilding, and Your healing touch restore those who are hurting in body and spirit.

O Lord, our Helper, move Your people to respond with compassion—through prayer, through generosity, and through acts of service that embody the love of Christ. Let Your Church rise as a beacon of hope amid despair.

Almighty Protector, bless and protect all CCT workers, pastors, volunteers, and community servant leaders reaching out to the affected communities. May their hands carry Your mercy and their words speak peace to those in distress.

God of our nation, we lift our entire nation before Your throne. As reports warn of a stronger typhoon approaching, we confess our dependence upon You alone. We pray for those in the path of this coming storm—that You would be their shield and fortress. Protect every province and every city from devastation. May our people find safety in You, and may Your hand turn this destruction away from our land. Spare us, O Lord, according to Your great love. Sovereign Lord, we declare that no storm is stronger than Your grace, and no destruction is beyond Your power to restore.

We entrust every life and every home to You, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.
