Happiest Birthday, our Miss Rizal 2025, Miss Phoebe Belle Cates! 🎉👑
May your day be filled with joy, love, and well-deserved celebration. Keep shining and inspiring everyone around you. 💖✨
🥳The Organon wishes Phoebe Cates, senior staff writer, a belated happy birthday!
🎉✏️ Phoebe Cates ✏️🎉
She does not enter a room loudly
she arrives the way ink settles on paper,
quiet but impossible to ignore.
In the newsroom,
her words are not ornaments
but bridges
spanning the distance
between what is seen
and what is understood.
She listens first.
To stories that tremble,
to silences that hide in the margins,
to truths that wait patiently
for someone brave enough
to carry them into daylight.
A crown may rest upon her head
beneath the bright theater of lights,
but it is never the source
of her radiance.
Her beauty is not in symmetry
nor in applause
it lives in the discipline of her pen,
in the way she bends
over a half-finished draft
long after others have gone home.
Senior staff writer
yet she writes like a beginner
every time:
with wonder,
with doubt,
with the humility
of someone who knows
that stories are borrowed lives.
Onstage, she stands
like a question asked gently
not demanding attention
but receiving it.
Offstage,
she gathers fragments of the world
and arranges them
into something that breathes.
The Organon does not merely print her name
it carries her voice
in its pulse,
in its margins,
in the quiet courage
between its lines.
And somewhere
between the crown
and the column,
she becomes more than both
not a queen of appearances,
nor a keeper of headlines,
but a woman
who understands
that true grace
is written,
revised,
and lived.
OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM LGU RIZAL
The Miss Kalinga 2026 Heat Is On!
As proud Rizalians, united as one, let us extend our all-out support to our very own Miss PaMaNa Queen 2025, Pacita Lee Mangagom Marallag.
Meanwhile, to address concerns regarding the selection of our official representative, the Local Government Unit of Rizal has diligently followed the proper and established selection process.
First, the reigning Ms. Rizal 2025, Ms. Phoebe Cates, underwent the official screening on January 7, 2026, before the Miss Kalinga 2026 Committee in Tabuk City. However, the screening panel disqualified Ms. Cates from participating in Miss Kalinga 2026 due to height requirements.
In accordance with the rules on succession, Ms. Pacita Lee Marallag, being the next most qualified titleholder, was selected to represent the Municipality of Rizal in Miss Kalinga 2026. Consequently, the Miss Kalinga 2026 Screening Committee officially admitted Ms. Marallag as Rizal’s representative on January 8, 2026.
With this, it is evident that all legal processes, stringent procedures, and qualification standards were properly observed and complied with.
To reiterate, bearing the standards set by the Miss Kalinga 2026 Committee, the Local Government Unit of Rizal, Kalinga, under the leadership of Hon. Karl Bugao P. Baac, has the right to send a qualified and competitive representative—one who will stand firm, brave, and ready to conquer the stage.
To all supporters of the eight lovely candidates, we respectfully remind everyone to be mindful of comments circulating on Facebook and other social media platforms. Let us promote respect, positivity, and unity, as there is no room for bashing in pageantry.
