𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 (𝗡𝗗𝗥𝗠) 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Under Executive Order No. 29, s. 2017, the month of July is designated as National Disaster Resilience Month (NDRM) in the Philippines. Filipinos nationwide commemorate this observance through activities aimed at raising public awareness of the importance of Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM).

For the 38th National Disaster Resilience Month, this year's celebration carries the theme: "𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗮 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗕𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘀." This highlights the importance of proactive preparedness and sustained action in building safe and disaster-resilient communities, most especially in our homes, schools, and workplaces.

Macaingalan Elementary School joins the simultaneous 𝙁𝙡𝙖𝙜 𝙍𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙮 held today, July 6, 2026, in Commemoration of the 10th Anniversary of the South China Sea Arbitral Award.

The July 12, 2016 Arbitral Award affirmed that the Philippines can defend its maritime rights peacefully. It protects coastal communities, livelihoods, and one of the world’s richest marine environments, reminding us that sovereignty is also about food security and future opportunities for every Filipino family.

Our Kindergarten to Grade 3 learners are now ready and excited for class, thanks to the brand new school supplies from our LGU.
