Passage: Eph. 5:21-33

1. Wives submit to your own husband
Common negative submissions:
A. Outright disobedience
B. Deception
C. Delayed obedience
D. Obedience with punishment
Point: Do not use the God given gift to manipulate your spouse, instead submit voluntarily to your husband
- refrain from embarasing your husband both inside & outside your home (in private or in public)
- do not compare your father or other men to your husband
2. Husbands love your wife
Note: God's pattern of love towards his church
A. Sacrificial love
B. Purifiying love
C. Caring love
- the manifestation of love of Christ to his bride must be the motivation of husband's love for his wife.
Instruments of God to restrain evil:
a. Church - Word
b. Gov't - Authority
c. Family - Devotion
d. Human conscience - conviction
- do not compare your wife to your mother
- leave your father/mother's house
- provide for your family/wife
Eph 5:21 submit to one another
- our duty is not to see through one another, but see one another through
- raise godly children
- be loyal to one another
- serve the Lord together

Marriage mirrors the love of God to His church and is done in reverence to Him. The passage of Eph. 5:22-33 outlines the instruction of the Lord to husband and wife.
Our sincere thanks to Ptr. Juan Ramos of SGCC for spending time with our married brethren and enlightening them (and in part, our single volunteers) about the God-given institution of marriage as well as the pitfalls of this world.
May the Lord be blessed in our life and relationships.

Love for God is expected from His creation, but without reverential fear, even Christians will rebel and disobey God's will and commandments.
1. Man-pleaser (Nagbibigay lugod sa madla) v. 1-14
2. God-pleaser (Tagapagbigay lugod sa Diyos) v. 15-35
Let us not feel His love as control, nor love something greater than Him. Sit at His table and give the glory to Him alone!
Praise the Lord. Let the people rejoice!

Women's Fellowship @ Sitio Katwiran
Led by Sister Reynalyn, the women take vital lessons from the lives of the ladies in Samson's life, particularly Delilah. The corruption of sin starts small and becomes greater with time. We are blessed by the restoration of the Lord and the sanctification of our souls, so we do not fall into sin's temptation and earn the just consequence.
