Today, we witnessed the incredible power of collaboration as the YES-O, YSC, BSP, Red Cross Youth (RCY), AP, and Sports Club teamed up for a major cleanup and tree planting activity. Overcoming busy schedules, our dedicated volunteers worked shoulder-to-shoulder to clear trash from our environment and plant vital seedlings. This effort is more than just a single-day event; it's a commitment to securing a healthier, more sustainable future for our community. Thank you to every member who showed up and made a real difference! Let's nurture the seeds we've planted.

Let Your Inner Scout Out:
A Silent Call to Service and Adventure This month, communities seem to be resonating with a pulsing spirit that calls for service and adventure. The message is strong and unambiguous: embrace your inner Scout! Regardless of age or past involvement, this is a strong call to uphold the timeless ideals of Scouting rather than a sentimental ode to youth. More than just a uniform or an organization, scouting is a way of life and a dedication to character development, which is sorely lacking in today's society. Being a Scout fundamentally entails following the Scout Law, which is a straightforward but important idea. It is an inspiring code of ethics that is incredibly succinct.

YOUTH TREE PLANTING & CLEAN-UP DRIVE

“One generation plants the trees; another gets the shade.” — Chinese proverb

Noong September 6, 2025, matagumpay na isinagawa ang Massive Youth Tree Planting at Clean-Up Drive sa Pamitinan Protected Landscape, Sitio Kayrupa, Brgy. San Rafael, bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng Linggo ng Kabataan 2025 na naglalayong isulong ang malasakit ng kabataan sa kalikasan.

Naisakatuparan ito sa inisyatiba ng Lokal na Pamahalaan ng Montalban, sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Mayor General Ronnie S. Evangelista (Ret.), katuwang ang Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) at Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) na pinangangasiwaan nina LYDO Officer-in-Charge Beverly Caparas at Montalban MENRO Forester Emma Liwliwa Medina. Naging tagapagsalita rin sa aktibidad si DENR representative Shaina A. Raposa.

Dinaluhan ito ng mahigit 130 kabataan at volunteers. Kabilang sa mga lumahok ang mga SK officials mula sa iba’t ibang barangay ng Montalban, gayundin ang Boy Scouts ng Tagumpay National High School, mga g**o mula sa Colegio de Montalban (CDM), Clean and Green, at iba pang mga boluntaryo.

Sa kabuuan, matagumpay na naitanim ang maraming punla ng fruit-bearing trees, native trees, at bamboo na magsisilbing dagdag-lungtian at proteksyon ng kalikasan. Mahigit sampung sako ng basura rin ang nakolekta bilang konkretong patunay ng pagtutulungan para sa kalinisan at pangangalaga ng kapaligiran.

The Monmuscom - Montalban Municipal Scouting Committee joins to celebrate the World Scout Scarf Day with all Scouts around the world.

World Scout Scarf Day, August 1st of each year, commemorates the first Scout Camp on Brownsea Island in 1907. On World Scout Scarf Day, all active and former Scouts are encouraged to wear their scarfs, or neckerchiefs, as a visible commemoration of Scouting.

Join in on the World Scout Scarf Day celebrations by wearing your favorite neckerchief and woggle on August 1st.
