It is made up of Crushed Glass Bottles, Shredded Plastic Sachets, Cement and Sand.

Pawikan Rescue and Retrieval Operation together with DENR PENRO, PNP Maritime Romblon, Coast Guard Station Romblon and PAWIKAN Association.

Kudos to PAWIKAN Association of Brgy. Agpanabat in supporting LGU Romblon towards Zero Waste Romblon. The association knocks on your heart to support the implementation of these project.

The coastal area of Brgy. II Poblacion Romblon, Romblon serve as the Fishing Port, Motorboat Port for Passengers and Tourist going to 3 island Barangays namely: Alad, Logbon and Cobrador and Brgy. Agtongo. It is very alarming that throw away plastics caught so much attention to tourist who wishes to visit these 3 island barangays. It ruins the scenic view of the Barangays coastal area and the ecosystem which benefitted on it.
As part of the Municipality’s commitment to life and conservation of nature and the Celebration of "WORLD ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DAY", the LGU immediately take action regarding these issue through the initiative of SB Fernando Faigao III and MENRO by conducting a Coastal Clean-Up drive at exactly 3:30 PM last September 26, 2023.
With the help of other agencies like PNP Maritime Romblon, PCG Romblon, BFP and Brgy. Kagawad Dayns Molina, Fishport Staff, and Market Staff of LGU Romblon, a total of 82 sacks of throw away plastics had been collected in the area. And a total of 53 participants participated in the clean-up drive.
