|| Climate Adaptation Measures (OUP Memo s. 2026, CRN 765)

In response to extreme heat indices in Palawan, Palawan State University is prioritizing the health of our community with the following guidelines, effective March 10 – May 31, 2026:

👕 OPTIONAL UNIFORMS: Faculty, staff, and students may wear comfortable, breathable clothes. Please ensure attire remains compliant with the University’s dress code policy.

💻 FLEXIBLE LEARNING: Classes at all levels will automatically shift to Synchronous or Asynchronous modes whenever the PAGASA heat index forecast reaches 42°C or higher.

🆔 MANDATORY IDs: While uniforms are optional, University IDs (ARTA/Student ID) must be worn at all times on campus.

📝 FOR FACULTY: During online shifts, please use the OHRMD Online Daily Time Record (DTR) for attendance (login/out).

☀️ STAY SAFE: Use umbrellas, caps, or hats; stay hydrated; and utilize well-ventilated areas.

This proactive measure applies to all campuses. The OUP reserves the right to adjust this policy based on updated weather forecasts.

Good news! The application for the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) is now open to all eligible students of Palawan State University (PalawanSU) - Roxas Campus.

Deadline: Today, November 25, 2025, at 10:30 AM (No extensions).

Important Reminders

1. Students must fill out the form only once.

2. The OSAS advised students to use their corporate email. Personal emails may be used if a corporate email is unavailable.

3. Students who are current beneficiaries of any batch of the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES), Tulong Dunong Program (TDP), CoScho, CHED Merit Scholarship, or other related CHED scholarships are not advised to apply.

4. Please fill out the form carefully and accurately.

5. Kindly share this announcement with other students on campus.
