Free Medicine Program for Samal Residents

SAMAL, Bataan —
Samal Mayor Alex Acuzar continues to prioritize health services in the municipality as residents can now avail themselves of free medicines through the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation's (PhilHealth) GAMOT Package program.

Under the initiative, residents may obtain prescribed medicines at no cost from accredited pharmacies after consulting with doctors at the Samal Super Health Center.

Mayor Acuzar said the program underscores the commitment of the local government to improving access to healthcare and ensuring that residents receive the medicines they need without additional financial burden.

To avail of the benefit, patients must first undergo consultation at the Samal Super Health Center and secure a prescription from a physician.

The prescription can then be presented at the accredited pharmacy, Kiara Ricci Pharmacy, where the medicines may be claimed free of charge.

Residents are encouraged to visit the facility or contact its personnel for more information about the program and other available health services.
