[January 21, 2026] SICC FIRST FORMATION FOR 2ND SEMESTER

As we welcome our BSCRIM students at the start of a new academic term, it marks the period of transition into another phase of learning and development. A journey that will offer opportunities to build on prior knowledge, achieve academic goals, and for the students to continue progressing.

Each new term is not just a continuation of the studies, but a chance to redefine the goals, strengthen determination, and embrace the opportunities ahead. It may bring challenges, but it is precisely through these trials that students will uncover true strength and develop skills, with the guidance of the instructors to help students stay focused, meet expectations, and work toward their best outcomes.

And as Thomas Carlyle has opined;
“Permanence, perseverance and persistence in spite of all obstacles, discouragements, and impossibilities: It is this, that in all things distinguishes the strong soul from the weak.”

The Office of the Registrar announces the enrollment dates for all year levels and programs. Students are advised to strictly follow their designated schedule to avoid delays and ensure a smooth enrollment process.

January 7, 2026 – 4th Year BPA
January 8, 2026 – 4th Year BSTM & BSAB
January 9, 2026 – BS in Entrepreneurship
January 12, 2026 – BS in Criminology
January 13, 2026 – 1st Year BSTM, BSAB & BPA
January 14, 2026 – 2nd–3rd Year BSTM
January 15, 2026 – 2nd–3rd Year BSAB

BS Criminology Department in Service:
TANGGOL Community Extension Program
On November 27, 2025, the Bachelor of Science in Criminology Department of Samal Island City College proudly launched its TANGGOL Community Extension Program, a dynamic outreach initiative under the theme “To protect and defend the community.” This event showcased the department’s commitment to applying criminological principles beyond the classroom and into real-world service.

Held in a covered outdoor venue, the activity featured the distribution of thoughtfully prepared resources, symbolizing the department’s organized and inclusive approach to community engagement. Students and faculty worked hand-in-hand to deliver resources, promote safety awareness, and foster stronger ties between the college and the local community.

This initiative not only highlighted the practical application of criminology education but also empowered students to embody the values of protection, leadership, and civic responsibility. Through programs like "TANGGOL", the BS Criminology Department continues to build a culture of service, integrity, and proactive involvement in shaping safer communities.

[ANNOUNCEMENT] UNIVERSAL SIGNAL for "STOP AND LISTEN"

Security personnel will start using whistles to alert, draw students' attention and manage the crowd. This will provide a way for the security personnel to effectively send signals without having to shout in maintaining order.

Its loud and distinct sound can quickly attract attention, which is crucial at deterring potential threats.

Let us strengthen campus safety and security.

FLASHBACK! To the Unforgettable MOMENT - Crim Day 2025 of Samal Island City College Criminology Department blazed with passion and pride as the four mighty houses—Sherlock, Marple, Poirot, and Drew—took the spotlight last October 22, 2025.

Each house showcased their strength, wit, talent, and skills, proving that true criminologists shine both in mind and in spirit.
More than just a battle of excellence, the event stood as a celebration of camaraderie, friendship, and unity that triumphed over rivalry.

A huge salute to the Faculty and Staffs together with the Local Councils of the SICC Criminology Department for their tireless effort in making this event a remarkable success.

Gratitude also goes to all SICC Criminology students whose teamwork and dedication made Crim Day 2025 an unforgettable chapter of excellence and unity! 🔥

Samal Island City College will temporarily defer the admission of NEW STUDENTS for the Second Semester of Academic Year 2025–2026 as additional classroom construction is still ongoing.

This measure is part of the College’s continuing efforts to enhance its learning environment and ensure the delivery of quality education. SICC assures the public that these developments are investments toward a bigger, better, and more future-ready institution.

‎The Acceptance Rites served as more than just a welcoming ceremony; it was a solemn passage and a symbol of commitment to discipline, honor, and moral excellence. As these students begin this new chapter, their light shines brighter with hope and dedication, ready to walk the path of truth and service to others.
