SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA – The CELTECH ROTC Unit successfully conducted its 2nd Training Day for Military Science 1 (MS-1) at the Bren Z. Guiao Sports Complex. Through the lectures on the Code of Citizenship and the conduct of Drills and Ceremonies, our cadets demonstrated discipline, teamwork, and commitment throughout the training.

CELTECH ROTC Unit Commences Training for New Cadets in San Fernando, Pampanga

SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA – July 5, 2026 — The CELTECH Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) Unit officially commenced its first day of training for Basic Cadets at the Bren Z. Guiao Sports Complex, marking the arrival of hundreds of new participants. The initial training phase represents the beginning of a transformative program designed to instill discipline, leadership, and civic responsibility among the student body.

The day’s proceedings opened with registration and a comprehensive orientation, followed by the formal introduction of the Advanced ROTC Officers. The newly minted cadets were presented to the unit's leadership, including 𝐋𝐓𝐂 𝐀𝐋𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐓 𝐎 𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐒 (𝐈𝐍𝐅) 𝐏𝐀, Commandant of the CELTECH ROTC Unit, and 𝐓𝐒𝐠 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐏 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐠𝐨 (𝐈𝐍𝐅) 𝐏𝐀 Chief Clerk of the 303rd Community Defense Center (CDC), 3rd Regional Community Defense Group (RCDG), Reserve Command (RESCOM). Ms. 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐒. 𝐁𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐨, 𝐌𝐁𝐀, CELTECH’s ROTC Coordinator, formally welcomed the cadets and provided vital administrative oversight for the day's activities.

As the training progresses, these basic cadets will undergo rigorous instruction in leadership, physical fitness, and disaster response preparedness. The CELTECH ROTC Unit remains steadfast in its mission to develop not just well-trained responders, but patriotic leaders who are ready to serve the nation whenever the call arises.
