We went on an adventure exploring the ancient mega city of Angkor, which is thought to have housed 1 million people at its peak. Bigger than any city in Europe at that time. Apart from the constant feeling of being in a Tomb Raider or Indiana Jones movie, what amazed us the most there, was how powerful nature is. How it slowly takes back what was once taken away by us humans.

While is not unique to Thailand, the floating market scene is a must visit when traveling the country. A variety of fresh foods, touristy trinkets and interesting people abound the scenery. It's a coordinated dance of folks cooking their culinary specialties and tourist boats navigating the close quarters of the rivers.
