The activity aims to enhance the capacity of the Rural Improvement Club (RIC) members of Barangay Bulusukan in developing a strong product identity and effectively promoting their donut products through logo creation and social media management. Specifically, the training seeks to improve their ability to present, market, and differentiate their products while strengthening group identity and confidence toward enterprise development.
The program begins with the arrival and registration of participants facilitated by ๐ ๐. ๐๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ป๐ฒ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ ๐ฆ. ๐ ๐ฐ๐ก๐ฎ๐๐,together with a photo opportunity at the BASC Grounds, courtesy call, Palayamanan site visit, and Food Innovation Center site visit coordinated by the concerned offices and units of the institution.
The opening program includes the opening prayer and national anthem led by ๐ ๐. ๐๐ป๐ป๐ถ๐ฒ ๐ฅ๐ผ๐๐ฒ ๐ฃ. ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ด๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ป๐ด๐ฎ๐ป๐ฎ๐ป, followed by the welcome remarks delivered by ๐๐ฟ. ๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ฒ ๐. ๐๐๐ด๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ฎ, Director of the Extension Services Office. The afternoon session features discussions on Social Media Marketing and Logo Making facilitated by resource speaker ๐๐ฟ. ๐๐ถ๐น๐น๐ ๐๐ผ๐ฒ ๐ฉ. ๐ฉ๐ถ๐น๐น๐ฒ๐ป๐ฎ, followed by a session on Basic Intellectual Property: Concepts and Processes conducted by ๐ ๐. ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป ๐. ๐ช๐ฎ๐ด๐ฎ๐ป-๐ฃ๐ฎ๐๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฎ.
The activity also includes the administration of the post-test and awarding of certificates facilitated by Ms. Anabel A. The activity brought together participants from Pandi, Baliwag City, San Rafael, San Miguel, and San Ildefonso, Bulacan to strengthen their knowledge and technical skills in sustainable duck production using ItikPinas technology. The training aimed to support farming communities by promoting improved production practices, enhancing livelihood opportunities, and increasing awareness of duck farming as a viable enterprise.

Serving as resource speaker, ๐๐ฟ. ๐๐ผ๐น๐น๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ฟ. ๐๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ผ, Assistant Professor III, facilitated the technical sessions focusing on the Philippine situation of the mallard duck industry and the characteristics and benefits of raising ItikPinas. Discussions also covered housing systems, care and management of ducklings, growers, and layers, feeding management, health and nutrition, biosecurity measures, egg collection, and basic recordkeeping.

Beyond lectures, the activity provided a venue for participants to exchange experiences and practical insights on duck production, reinforcing collaborative learning among farming communities in the province. Sariwang Gulay para sa Bayan: Juanang Pangkabuhayan, Naglunsad ng Community Pantry sa Sityo Tugatog
BOCAUE, BULACAN โ Isang makabuluhang hakbang para sa kalusugan at pagkakaisa ang nasaksihan sa Sityo Tugatog, Brgy. Tambubong ngayong araw, Abril 10, 2026, matapos ilunsad ng samahang Juanang Pangkabuhayan ng Bocaue ang isang Community Pantry.
Layunin ng aktibidad na ito na makapagbahagi ng libre, ligtas, at masustansyang pagkain sa komunidad bilang tugon sa epekto ng giyera sa pagitan ng Israel, Amerika at Iran sa Gitnang Silangan na nagdulot ng patuloy na pagtaas ng presyo ng langis na nagiging dahilan din ng pagtaas ng presyo ng iba pang mga bilihin. Ang mga gulay, itlog at prutas na ipinamahagi ay mismong ani ng mga kasapi ng samahan mula sa kanilang pinagpagurang mga pananim sa kani-kanilang mga bakuran.
Ang Juanang Pangkabuhayan ng Bocaue ay isang samahan ng kababaihan na pangunahing benepisyaryo ng proyektong "Expanding Women-led Integrated Backyard Farming in Bulacan through the Science and Technology Community Based-Farm (STCBF) Modality." Ang inisyatibong ito ay proyekto ng Bulacan Agricultural State College sa pakikipagtulungan ng Pamahalaang Bayan ng Bocaue, Bulacan at pinondohan ng DOST-PCAARRD, na naglalayong palakasin ang kapasidad ng mga kababaihan sa pagsasaka gamit ang makabago at ligtas na pamamaraan.
Layunin ng grupo ng mga kababaihan sa Bocaue na kung paano sila nabibigyan ng mga pagpapala mula sa proyektong ito ay makapagbahagi rin nila sa iba pang taong higit na nangangailangan lalo na sa panahon ngayon.
Sa ilalim ng pamumuno ng kanilang pangulo na si Gng. Susana Prociuncula, napatunayan ng samahan na ang sipag ng mga "Juana" ay may malaking kontribusyon sa seguridad sa pagkain ng kanilang komunidad. Hindi lamang ang mga residente ng Brgy. Tambubong ang nakinabang sa biyaya ng community pantry. Umabot sa mahigit limampung (50) na pamilya ang matagumpay na nabahagian ng mga sariwang gulay, kabilang ang mga naninirahan mula sa mga karatig-barangay ng Taal at Batia.

The program opened with registration facilitated by the Training Management Team (TMT), followed by the opening prayer and national anthem. Welcome remarks and the discussion of training objectives, along with the presentation of participants were led by ๐๐ซ. ๐๐๐ฆ๐จ๐ง ๐๐ก๐ข๐ญ๐จ ๐. ๐๐๐ซ๐ฆ๐ข๐๐ง๐ญ๐จ. A pre-test was also administered by the TMT to assess participantsโ baseline knowledge.
The morning sessions featured an introduction to โWhat is Cybercrime and Cybersecurityโ by ๐๐ซ. ๐๐๐ฆ๐จ๐ง ๐๐ก๐ข๐ญ๐จ ๐. ๐๐๐ซ๐ฆ๐ข๐๐ง๐ญ๐จ, followed by an interactive workshop and open forum facilitated by the TMT. Discussions on Common Threat Vectors were led by ๐๐ฌ. ๐๐๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ข๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐ข๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐, while the Data Privacy Act of 2012 was discussed by ๐๐ซ. ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฅ๐จ ๐๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐ง๐ญ๐, with another workshop and open forum session facilitated by the TMT.
