Child Rights Council - San Isidro

The very active Child Rights Council (CRC) and Supreme Student Government of San Isidro National High School held a leadership development training and child rights seminar over the weekend. They invited Ms. Angeli Ludovico, our head office staff in charge of Education, Protection, and Advocacy, to speak about the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, a ratified document that sets out the various rights of a child. During her speech, she said that one of the often overlooked rights of the child is participation.

Through the CRC, we are fixing that mistake by providing a venue for children (youth) to create a discourse about their concerns such as protecting the rights of their fellow children.
