Thank you from the bottom of my heart for honoring me as your godparent on your beautiful wedding day. Standing beside you both as you began this new chapter filled my eyes with tears and my heart with so much joy.

Merashie, I still remember you walking into my Grade 11 class – and who would have thought you’d end up staying with me for 4 more years through college? Watching you grow from that bright, determined student into the amazing teacher you are today has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. Seeing you pass your board exam made me so proud I could burst. You’ve always been so kind, patient, and thoughtful with me, and your hard work and sense of responsibility inspire everyone around you.

Jay, thank you for loving Merashie and for giving her the happiness she deserves. I can see how well you complement each other, and I know you’ll build a life filled with laughter and warmth.

First off, to Bobby – my former college student. Look at you now, dad of the year! Here you are organizing a party. Thank you for trusting me to be part of Luna’s special day – it’s been such a joy watching you grow from a student to the proud, handsome dad standing here today. Plus, thanks for rounding up those few old classmates – that mini reunion had us laughing so hard, I almost forgot I was supposed to be emceeing!

And Meg – oh, Meg, you are a dream client! You followed every single one of my prize-prep instructions to the letter… and then some! I said ‘maybe a few prizes to keep people happy’ – you said ‘let’s turn this into a giveaway festival!’ Everyone here is walking away with something. Your generosity made this day so much more fun, and that energy spilled over into every message shared and every dance move busted out on the floor.

Now, let’s talk about the real stars of the show – the lechon I’m taking home and that body patch for my back pain. Bobby, you know me too well – after hours of emceeing, dancing, and laughing, my back was screaming ‘retirement!’ But that patch is already working magic, and that lechon? Hehehe, you didn’t just thank me with words – you thanked me with food and pain relief – that’s true love right there!
