The journey toward excellence officially begins! ✨

The ABM students of Grade 11 and Grade 12 have started their NC III Bookkeeping Review, marking the first step in preparation for their upcoming NC III examination.

This month-long review will be guided by Ma’am Chona Samarro and Ma’am Rubylyn Cancino, both proud ABM advisers and NC III Bookkeeping holders, who are not only our dedicated mentors but also the initiators of this program. Their expertise, experience, and commitment reflect their genuine desire to strengthen students’ skills, competence, and confidence in the field of bookkeeping. With mentors who have already earned the certification themselves, we are truly guided by the best.

We were also honored by the presence of Ma’am Jenneth Reyes, who shared her words of wisdom and encouragement, as well as our supportive Assistant Principal, Ma’am Glenna Fernandez, whose presence inspired us to aim higher and stay committed to our goals.

As we begin this review, we carry with us discipline, perseverance, and the true ABM spirit. Good luck to all of the future NC III Holders! 🙌

The 𝑨𝑩𝑴 𝑮𝑰𝑳𝑨𝑺 𝑪𝒍𝒖𝒃 and 𝑺𝑻𝑬𝑴 𝑺𝑰𝑲𝑳𝑨𝑩 𝑪𝒍𝒖𝒃 are proud to share that we have successfully purchased 15 calculators for the Senior High School students of SNHS. These calculators will now be available for borrowing. A simple initiative aimed at supporting our fellow seniors in their academic journey. This initiative is a reminder that learning should never be limited by resources.

This project was made possible through the collected funds from the Bingo with a Cause during the Math Month Culminating Activity. Your participation truly made a difference, proving that fun activities can also serve a greater purpose.

Students may proceed to the Senior High Faculty and look for Ma’am Chona Samarro or Ma’am Rubylyn Cancino to borrow a calculator.

“MATHEMATICS AND HOPE: Empowering Minds for a Changing World.” 📐✨

With this year’s Math Month theme, the Senior High School ABM Gilas Club and STEM Siklab proudly collaborated to bring exciting and meaningful activities for our seniors. 🔥 The celebration featured mind-challenging and strategic games such as the Tower of Hanoi, Sudoku Game, Rubik’s Cube Showdown, Mathketball for Grade 11, and of course, the Inter-Strand Math Quiz Bee. Each activity highlighted not only intelligence and skills, but also teamwork, perseverance, and critical thinking.

The Math Month Culminating Activity was held last February 11, 2026, where winners from each category were recognized and awarded on stage. 🏆👏 It was truly a proud and inspiring moment for everyone.

To conclude the celebration, the final activity, Bingo with a Cause, brought together both Grade 11 and Grade 12 students. This special event aimed to raise funds to help the school purchase quality calculators for students who do not have one. With exciting prizes and school supplies given to winners who completed the required patterns, the activity became both enjoyable and purposeful.

Through this celebration, students and teachers were able to learn, compete, and give back at the same time, a fun and meaningful way to end Math Month while truly embodying the spirit of Mathematics and Hope. ✨

Oct 20, ‘25 | Octoberfest in SNHS 🪇

The long and most-awaited Octoberfest Performance of the Grade 12 students of Silangan National High School has finally come! Each section showcased their passion, energy, and creativity through their festivals. It was truly a day to remember!

ABM Anthurium represented the Ati-Atihan Festival with a goosebumps-inducing performance, proudly painted in black as a tribute to the Ati people of Kalibo, Aklan. Their strong movements, chants, and energy echoed one loud cheer:
“Hala Bira, Ho ha! Viva Sto. Niño! Pwera Pasma!” 🔥

Meanwhile, ABM Azalea performed their Kadayawan Festival with harmonious dance and gracefulness, along with colorful and huge props. The audience were captivated by their all-smiles dancers who radiated joy and energy on stage that captured the beauty and spirit of Davao. 🌸❤️
“Madayao Davao, Madayao Mindanao!”

Congratulations to all Grade 12 students for accomplishing another success event and competition. The GILAS Club were so proud of you, especially to Anthurium and Azalea. Truly, a true ABM pride.
