Lately I’ve been thinking about the kind of responsibility I want to carry so my children don’t have to, about how hard work now is really an act of love for their future, because I want them focused on discovering who they are, building their own dreams, and stepping into life without the weight of fixing what I should have prepared, and even when I’m tired, stretched thin, or sacrificing comforts, I remind myself that breaking cycles doesn’t happen with words, it happens with effort, planning, and discipline, and as a mother that feels deeply personal to me, because giving them freedom instead of obligation is one of the quiet promises I’m determined to keep, no matter how heavy it feels some days 🤍
