“I Will Not Leave You Orphaned”
In this painting, a father carries a child on his shoulders, lifting him high enough to see beyond the wall. What lies before them is a vast, promise-filled landscape, awash with light, color, and peace. Behind the gentle brushstrokes is a whisper of divine assurance: we are never alone.
The wall represents life’s barriers: loss, fear, separation, or longing. But love transcends them. The father’s presence mirrors the heart of God who lifts His children to see hope when all they can see are walls. The verse from John 14:18 breathes through the scene: “I will not leave you orphaned; I am coming to you.”
This artwork becomes a visual prayer, one that reminds us that even when the landscape ahead feels unreachable, the Father carries us, giving us new eyes to behold His promises.
