Southern Isabela Medical Center (SIMC) takes a bold step toward becoming a truly gender-responsive healthcare institution through the 24-hour Enhanced Gender Mainstreaming Evaluation Framework (GMEF) training, conducted on March 25–26, 2026, at Disadeco Event Center from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Guided by our GAD Consultant and Subject Matter Expert, Atty. Mylen B. Gonzales-Esquivel, this initiative strengthened our commitment to identifying gaps, enhancing systems, and promoting inclusive, equitable, and compassionate healthcare for all.

With a 2025 GMEF score of 66.24, SIMC continues to rise, turning insights into action and challenges into opportunities for growth.
