On March 2, 2026, his excellency, Most Rev. Bishop Joel Z. Baylon, D.D., paid his visit to the Catholic Central School of Tabaco, Albay, Inc. (CCSTAI) as the final activity of his 2026 Pastoral Visit.

A mass was held in celebration of the bishopโ€™s visit and was presided over by the bishop himself, along with Rev. Fr. Augusto Abril, School Director of CCSTAI, and Rev. Fr. Ed Ramin, Parish Priest of the St. John the Baptist Church. In the bishopโ€™s homily, he emphasized how we are not just a church because we are called to gather, but because we are a community of people who are witnesses to the love of God in our lives โ€” we are called to be His witnesses. โ€œWhatever we learn about Jesus, the way He loved and served, the teachings that He shared so that we may be able to understand who God is; a God that is loving, forgiving, compassionate, and life-giving,โ€ Bishop Joel highlighted in his homily.

Afterwards, the bishop was welcomed with cheers by the Centralian community. Following the bishopโ€™s welcome, a dialogue with selected student leaders, the GPTC officers, FMIJ Sisters, teachers, and staff was held inside the AVR.
