Argiya (or Allagiya as they call it here in Kalinga) using hydroponics. Usually, we just harvest this indigenous gem along the pathways of the rice terraces back home, but it turns out it can thrive in water too!

IPATH took part in the 5-day Hand holding Session organized by TESDA, following an invitation extended in recognition of IPATH’s work in hydroponics. Among the delegates from Kalinga Province was Sunshine S. Molintas, a distinguished 2025 GAWAD SAKA National Awardee. It was a meaningful exchange of knowledge and inspiration, and we are truly grateful for the opportunity to learn from TESDA Region 1, 2 ,3 and CAR . IPATH looks forward to formalizing a specialized Hydroponics NC II qualification in collaboration with TESDA.
