𝐋𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐍 𝐂𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐒 2𝐍𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐃𝐒𝐓𝐅

Tumauini Stand-Alone Senior High School (TSASHS) Student-Researcher Jamina Laman secured 2nd Place in the recently concluded 2025 Division Science and Technology Fair (DSTF) in Aurora, Isabela, October 24.

With Laman's study, "Assessing the Effectiveness of an Improvised Vermi-Tea Brewer Machine in the Production of Vermi-Tea Foliar Fertilizer," she managed to bag the 2nd Best Science Innovation Project and 3rd Best Display Board in Physical Science - Individual Category.

Laman did not anticipate receiving such recognition.

"Syempre, as a first timer sa Sci-Tech Fair, hindi ko ine-expect na makukuha ko yung place na 'yun dahil experienced din yung ibang kasabayan ko. Pero very grateful ako dahil na-achieve ko ang 2nd Place," she said.

She extended her gratitude to her coaches and teachers who guided her throughout her study.

"Nagpapasalamat din ako sa mga nag-guide sa akin, sina ma'am Melai, ma'am Gelly, ma'am Joan, at sir Rolly. Hindi ko masusungkit ang place na 'to without their help and guidance hanggang sa matapos yung study at hanggang sa competition," Laman added.

After bagging 2nd Place, Laman will now move and participate in the upcoming 2025 Regional Science and Technology Fair (RSTF).
