Regional Crop Protection Center XII - RCPC

On May 19-21, 2026 held at The Grand Summit Hotel, General Santos City. Through the collaborative initiative of the Food and Agriculture Organization in the Philippines and the Food Development Center, the “Training on ISO/IEC 17025 for Mindanao Cluster – Track 2” was successfully conducted with the active participation of the Regional Crop Protection Center, Regional Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory, Regional Soils Laboratory, and Feed Chemical Analysis Laboratory.

Together with our Integrated Laboratories Division Chief, Dr. Jeneffer R. Bulawan, participants strengthened their knowledge and technical competencies on laboratory quality assurance systems and internationally recognized standards through the following sessions:

• Equipment Maintenance and Calibration

The training emphasized the importance of implementing effective laboratory practices, maintaining reliable analytical procedures, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of laboratory results in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards. This initiative further reinforces the commitment of participating laboratories toward continual improvement, technical excellence, and the delivery of quality laboratory services in support of the agriculture sector.
