Getting a backstage pass into the kitchen at Moonlit_bohol in Alona was eye-opening. The owner here is incredibly meticulous about putting together every single dish, and you can really taste the difference because they make everything from scratch.

While their fusion menu is famous, the absolute biggest revelation for me was their Detroit-style Pizza. The crust, the cheese, the sauce—not the classic pizza... but it is easily one of the best pizzas experience you will find on the island.

Here is what you need to order:

- 🍹 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬: Super well-balanced drinks and excellent vibes to jumpstart your night.

The ambiance is fantastic, the staff treats you like family, and it is a spot I am 100% coming back to again and its no wonder why it is a local favorite. 🗺️👇

If you need a sweet way to fight the summer heat in Panglao, you have to check out Toppi Toppi at Rue de Premier in Alona. This super cute Korean cafe is all about premium cold treats and heavy toppings.

They serve up:

🍧 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐊𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐁𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐮 (₱380): Overloaded with fresh fruit and a super delicious, milky snow shaved ice that is huge and perfect for sharing.

🍦 𝐊-𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐬 (₱200): Packed with flavor! The Mango and the Yogurt parfaits (with pomelo and mango) are topped with the most delicious yogurt ice cream.

They also have refreshing shakes and coffee to keep you cool right before or after your beach run. 🌊☕
