𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗟𝘂𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗴: 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗮

On May 14, 2026, the Philippine Army Finance Center Producers Integrated Cooperative (PAFCPIC) once again extended compassion and support to marginalized sectors through Project Lusong 2026. This time, the initiative focused on drivers across Metro Manila, recognizing their continuous sacrifices and hardships amid the persistent increase in fuel prices.

As drivers remain among the most affected sectors by the rising cost of gasoline, many drivers continue to struggle in providing for their families while sustaining their daily operations. In response to these challenges, PAFCPIC distributed 650 rice packs to drivers in Quezon City and Taguig as a simple gesture of assistance.

Several beneficiaries expressed their heartfelt gratitude to PAFCPIC during the activity. Some drivers shared, “Maraming salamat po,” while others said, “Malaking tulong po ito sa amin,” reflecting how even small acts of kindness can greatly ease the burden of daily living.

Project Lusong continues to uphold its mission of providing supplementary services to vulnerable and marginalized sectors across Luzon. Through compassion, cooperation, and shared responsibility, the initiative aims to bring hope and assistance to communities facing economic and social challenges.

As PAFCPIC carries forward its commitment to service, Project Lusong 2026 serves as another testament that unity and generosity can create meaningful impact in the lives of many—especially for those who keep our communities moving every single day.
