𝙈𝘼𝙔𝙊𝙍 𝘼𝙏𝙏𝙔. 𝙒𝙀𝙉𝙂 𝙇𝙄𝙕𝘼𝙍𝙀𝙎, continues to champion the welfare and empowerment of city government workers as the Livelihood Skills Training for City Employees officially kicked off today, June 3rd.
In a dynamic collaboration between the Human Resource Management Office headed by Arlene Firmeza and the City Cooperative and Livelihood Development Office headed by Caroline Tabianan, 30 eager participants spent Day 1, diving hands on into the essentials of food processing, held at the Balay Pangabuhian.
For the 1st batch, the employees mastered the step-by-step methods of deboning, smoking and canning training using Milkfish as the main ingredient.
To ensure the highest standards of food safety and preparation, every participant was equipped with their own training kit, including a hairnet, apron and measuring cups. Even better, everyone went home with a proud, delicious take-home portion of the very products they processed today.
The empowerment doesn't stop here. Tomorrow, another batch of 30 city employees will take their turn to learn the craft of corned beef processing.
Kudos to our hardworking city employees for upgrading their skills, and thank you to HRMO and CCLDO for making this sustainable livelihood initiative possible.
