Dalaygon ang Dios!

We often misinterpret the silence of our fathers as cold, uncaring, but in this season of Advent we are reminded by the fatherhood of Saint Joseph, a quiet father, doing the will of the Lord without murmuring, contemplating the future of his family, and meditating his choices in life.

Atheists uses hiddenness as proof that God does not exists. They argue that the immutability of God makes Him apart from us but we know all too well that unless we take the covers of pride, unless we neglect to hear the deafening noises of the world, unless our hearts are open, unless our ears are ready to listen, only then we will know that God is always there, even nearer in our despair.

Most of the time, we tend to push away our family members when we find wrong in them but here comes Jesus, emerging in the world with a family, embracing the imperfection of humanity.

The beauty of Christian faith is that its Creator became one of His creation to save them and that was love unconditional.

It is not our job to tell if the end of the world is near. Jesus made it clear that it only belongs to the Father. Rather than be scared of the second coming because the happenings, it should be expected full of joy, full of hope. The meeting of Jesus must be a festive celebration. It is not the real Gospel if it does bring fear. Our duty is to prepare.
