A year ago today, April 20, 2025 while the world was celebrating the resurrection of Jesus, we were quietly grieving your loss.

That day felt so different for us. While others rejoiced, our hearts were heavy, trying to understand a life without you. It has been a year of a roller coaster of emotions—days of strength, and days when the silence feels louder than anything else.

We’ve learned to carry the memories you left behind. The laughter, the lessons, even the little moments others used to overlook. And even though we are no longer under your guidance, your three daughters have grown to be observant and strong just like you.

For others who may not have shared as many memories with you as we did, even the smallest moments they remember now mean everything. In the middle of it all, we continue to move forward, holding on to the love that never left.

I still miss you every single day, my best frenemy, my constant, my home. There are so many things I wish I could still share with you, so many moments I wish you were here to witness.

I love you, Mamay. Rest in peace. We’ll be fine. I will be fine, one day at a time. 🙏
