Raising our kids has been the greatest journey of my life, one that I’m blessed to walk hand in hand with my wife Tess. We’re far from perfect, but every day we choose love and understanding.

I used to cook pakdol (bulalo) for my kids and my wife back when our days were slow and my only schedule was being a husband and a father in the kitchen.

Now that public service keeps me on the move, moments like this hit different. We passed by for a simple to-go meal an pirmi kami suki tikang pa han una , ngan an rasa may paka pareho han akun ka luto .

the taste brought me back to those warm memories at our dining table ,an ka tawa , an mga storya, ngan an kalipay ha amun panimalay.
