Aldea Elementary School successfully conducted the second day of its School-Based Press Conference, featuring a discussion and workshop on News and Feature Writing led by its invited resource speaker, Mrs. Suzette C. Dacles.

The session equipped aspiring campus journalists with essential knowledge and practical skills in writing accurate, balanced, and engaging news and feature stories. Through guided discussions and workshop activities, participants strengthened their understanding of journalistic principles and ethical campus journalism while enhancing their writing competencies.

Aldea Elementary School extends its sincere appreciation to Mrs. Suzette C. Dacles for generously sharing her expertise, time, and passion with our young campus journalists. Her invaluable guidance and commitment to mentoring aspiring writers greatly contributed to the success of the activity and inspired participants to develop their skills in campus journalism.

Aldea Elementary School had the opportunity to welcome Ms. Jade Gime, Researcher of GMA Public Affairs, for an ocular research activity as the school was among the selected schools in Tanay included in the study. The activity was also graced by the presence and support of the Tanay Public Schools District Supervisors, Dr. August M. Jamora, Dr. Cecilia D. Ramirez, and Ma’am Dalisay B. Torres, who joined the school throughout the engagement.

During the activity, Ms. Jade conducted interviews and on-site documentation with members of the school community to gain a deeper understanding of the school’s programs, daily operations, and the realities and challenges encountered in delivering quality education. The engagement also provided an opportunity to observe firsthand the commitment and resilience of Aldea ES in serving its learners.

Coinciding with the activity, the District Supervisors also conducted their monitoring visit, which included classroom and school monitoring, as well as meaningful discussions with the school's Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG)officers. Their presence further underscored the Department's commitment to supporting schools through continuous guidance and quality assurance.

The Aldea ES community extends its heartfelt gratitude to our PSDS for their unwavering support, positive feedback, valuable technical assistance, and insightful recommendations that will further strengthen the school's programs and initiatives.

Together, these engagements reaffirm Aldea Elementary School's commitment to continuous improvement, collaboration, and the delivery of quality, learner-centered education.
