So grateful to the people who helped me care for you during your recovery because it was really a whim when I chose to bring you home. I had bought chicken for dinner and wanted to buy pink mogu-mogu at 7/11 when you were scavenging outside for food. I couldn't go in and wrapped you in my arms instead. I did not eat the chicken either. That night I gained something better than a full stomach and one of my favorite drinks, in the spirit of a better happiness - I had you, Lychee.

Everything was worth it. You were always the kindest, most understanding, and bravest free-roaming guardian near the area of cat crib. You finally had your own place to stay, at the rest house in our garden, after being traumatized by the people who used to shoo you because you were very smelly and dirty.

If only you told me you weren't feeling well anymore, you know that I had gone thru lengths for you and I would have continued to do so. Rest in peace and may your soul guide all those who need it. I was so lucky to be able to experience your love and gratitude.
