Does size matter? Yes! 😲

Font size matters. The font size on graphic design can create a solid first impression. The size and combination of the font on a design can give the viewer an idea of the subject matter and evoke different emotions. A study by reading expert Hermann Rorschach and psychologist Bernhard Schauffler 🧐 showed that people who were shown a series of words in either a small or large font size performed better on a word memory test if the words had been presented in larger font size.

👉 Graphic designers should be aware of the fact that typography has an influence on how their audience will perceive their design and also their company as a whole. The first rule of typography is that fonts should be sized in relation to one another. It may sound like a no-brainer, but it's actually not as simple as you think. But why do we need to follow this rule?

If the font sizes are not proportional on a page, it can lead to problems like eye fatigue, confusion, and lack of visual hierarchy, which may cause your readers to leave before finishing reading your content. Keep in mind that font size matters. 😉
