A few years ago, I suffered a heartbreaking loss. I loss a very important part of my life, and I am left with a hole in my chest, and no matter what I do, I can’t find a way to patch this hole. I am lost. I am on my way to a dark place with which I know I have no way out. And to add insult to the injury, the pandemic hits. It’s like the whole universe was conspiring against me. I began to question my faith, my skills, and my existence. I began having doubts in myself. Maybe, because bad things were happening to me, Am I a bad person.?Because while I am suffering, and crying myself to sleep every night, those who have caused me pain were living the time of their lives? I asked my friends, why do bad things happen to good people? And I always get the same answer. God cause all things to work together for good. They said just wait, and everything that God has for you will reveal itself in the end. In between tears and sobs, my friends reminded me that I am good, and worthy and I did not deserve any of the pain I am going through. True enough, a new day came, and it’s like projects started rolling in, offers to host a digital variety show came. It’s a new platform, so I grabbed it. My world started returning to its original state, albeit, more exciting, more colorful. One morning I woke up, I am already happy, and contented, like the nightmares from yesterday were just that, nightmares. Right now I am a new person. Truly, God cause all things to work together for good.
Having awarded this award, I feel so humbled, and honored and privileged. What a way to end the year!
First, of course, to the Man who, above all things have loved me, and continues to love me despite my flaws, God. Thank you for directing my path. Thank you for making it easy for me to forgive and move forward. Thank you for the blessing of life and joy.
To my family for their unconditional love and support.
To my friends, who always have my back, through thick and thin. My friends who have the most ridiculous ideas, and advices, for making me laugh, and for crying with me. I love you guys, beyond words.

And so, I will end with this: God will cause all things to work together for good. If bad things happen, it doesn’t mean He is punishing you. Maybe He is just trying to direct your path. Just trust Him. In the end, things will reveal themselves, all for the better.
