2025 Wrapped

A collection of black-and-white and color photographs taken throughout 2025 using DSLR cameras.
The images were made across different locations: various parts of Cavite (General Trias, Imus, Dasmariñas, Tagaytay), Binondo in Manila, the beach, and several cafés.

This year was intentional. I made time to move, to explore unfamiliar places, and to experience daily life outside routine. I tried new food, experimented with different makeup brands, and allowed myself to participate—to take the ride, stay present, and live within the moment rather than simply get through it.

The expenses for these travels came from my own pocket, supported by commissions. These projects directly supported the work and made the trips possible. Thank you to everyone who commissioned and trusted me this year.

Among the series, the Binondo trip stands out based on the strength of the images produced, and wishing to explore more of it. Dasmarinas follows closely, particularly because I simply like the streets and their chaos.

Cavite Photowalk pt. 4 (last part)

Plaza ng Imus noong December 17. May bazaar, kainan, pailaw, at maraming tao. Ended up just ordering a shawarma rice. Worth it. Masarap siya at bago ko pa matitigan yung karne, gawa na yung order ko. Malawak ang unahan ng simbahan at kaharap lamang ito ng plaza at ng dating municipio.

Ang mga larawang ito ay maunti lamang kumpara sa magagandang nakita at naranasan ko. Everything new. Even the way I used the public transpo. Ginabi nang ginabi sa daanan pero pakiramdam kong naging ibang tao ako dahil dito.
