TCC MATH CLUB

Good day TCCnians!
The TCC Math Club will be having a Parol Making Contest with the theme "Parol of Light: Fostering Unity, Camaraderie and Creativity" on December 14, 2022.

Mechanics/Guidelines:
1. The contest is open to all students of Tiwi Community College .
2. The Parol should be composed of indigenous materials ONLY.
3. The size of the parol must have a minimum height of half (1/2) a meter and a maximum height of one (1) meter.
4. Lighting may be used to enhance the visual effect of the parol. However, candles and live fire are not permissible.
5. Concepts and decors of the parol must be original and newly created.
6. All Parol entries will be submitted in TCC campus on or before December 14, 2022.
7. Awarding of winners will be announced on December 19, 2022 around 4:00 PM at TCC grounds.
8. Parol entries will be judged by the following criteria:
•Originality —40%
•Creativity —30%
•Overall Presentation —20%
•Relevance to the theme—10%
TOTAL —100%
9. The decision of the Board of Judges is final and irrevocable.

1st Place— P 3,000
2nd Place— P 2,000
3rd Place— p 1,000
