The Tondo High School Scouting Unit, BSP Manila Council, proudly joins the nation in celebrating the 126th anniversary of Philippine Independence. With deep sense of patriotism and scout pride, we honor the bravery and sacrifices of our heroes who fought for the freedom we enjoy today. The symbols in our pubmat—PH, Araw ng Kalayaan, and K.K.K.—serve as powerful reminders of our identity, history, and the continuing call to love our country.

As Scouts, we are not only bearers of the torch of freedom but also builders of a progressive and united nation. Let this Independence Day inspire us to live by the Scout Oath and Law—serving our community, protecting our environment, and upholding the truth. They are called for peace and order. For visitors, ceremonies, programs, volunteers. Always first on the list.

𝘼𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙬𝙚𝙧. 𝙀𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙮. 𝙇𝙖𝙩𝙚. 𝙒𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙚.

𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢. 𝙄𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙖 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩.

But after the work ends, a quiet question remains:

The school trusts them to lead, to serve, to represent. Yet when Scouts pursue their own growth, they often wait for the same encouragement they have always given.

This is not about recognition.

If Scouts consistently give time to the school's needs, their own aspirations deserve equal support. Service was never meant to be one-sided.

Scouts will still answer the call. That is who they are.

Ang Scouts ng Tondo High School Scouting Unit ay napasarap sa kani-kanilang bakasyon. Pero sa kabila ng lahat ng sarap ng pahinga, 𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙖 𝙣𝙖 𝙨𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙪𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙗𝙞𝙨𝙮𝙤 𝙨𝙖 𝙥𝙖𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙩 𝙡𝙖𝙡𝙤 𝙣𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝙠𝙤𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙙 — dahil walang permanenteng bakasyon ang pagiging isang Scout. ⚜️

The Senior Scouts of Outfit 75 proudly rendered the Entrance of Colors during several graduation and recognition ceremonies this year.

📍 March 26, 2026 – Recognition Day Ceremony
📍 March 30, 2026 – Grade 10 Graduation Ceremony, where several of our Senior Scouts also celebrated their own graduation.
📍 May 3, 2026 – Graduation Ceremony of Holy Heart Christian Academy, where our scouts were invited to lead the Entrance of Colors.

We also extend our congratulations to both of our alumnus, Chriswell Tipura and Tristan Vendiola on their Senior High School graduation.

We are honored to have served in these meaningful occasions, upholding the values of discipline, leadership, and service.

🧹 OUTFIT 75 HEADQUARTERS BRIGADA ESKWELA CLEAN-UP DRIVE! 🧹

Kahapon, nagsagawa ang mga Senior Scouts ng Outfit 75 ng clean-up drive para sa brigada sa aming Headquarters bilang bahagi ng aming tungkulin sa paglilingkod at pangangalaga sa aming Headquarters.
Sa pamamagitan ng pagtutulungan at disiplina, nilinis, inayos, at inorganisa namin ang mga kagamitan, kagamitan sa emergency response, at iba pang pasilidad upang mapanatiling maayos, ligtas, at handa ang Headquarters para sa mga susunod na gawain at aktibidad.
Ang simpleng gawaing ito ay patunay na ang isang Scout ay hindi lamang handang maglingkod sa komunidad kundi responsable rin sa pangangalaga ng mga lugar na kanyang kinabibilangan.

Someone once asked me, “Why did you join Scouting? What makes it so special?”

For a moment, I didn’t know how to answer.

I thought about the camps, the uniforms, the merit badges, the trainings, and all the memories collected over the years. But somehow, none of those things alone could truly explain why Senior Scouting leaves such a lasting mark on a person.

Then I looked at the people beside me — the ones who stayed through exhausting camps, sleepless nights at camp, failures, growth, and the moments when quitting felt easier than pushing forward. The people who reminded me to keep going without even realizing how much they helped.

That’s when I understood.

Scouting was never only about survival skills or achievements. It was about becoming part of something greater than yourself. It teaches you resilience after hard days, how to serve without expecting recognition, and how to become someone others can depend on.

Along the way, the people around you stop feeling like strangers. They become the ones you share stories, struggles, laughter, and unforgettable memories with. Not connected by blood, but by experiences that slowly shape all of you together.

Maybe that’s why Scouting stays in a person’s heart for so long. Because one day, you realize it was never just about the camps or the awards.

It was about the people who helped you grow, believed in you when you doubted yourself, and became part of your life in ways words can hardly describe.

And no matter where life takes you, a part of you will always find its way back home to Scouting.

Congratulations to the newly invested Senior Scouts of Tondo High School! One milestone in your Scout life is your investiture. You are now a full-fledged scout as regards duty, service, and discipline, which is real scouting. We wish you to serve your school, your community, and your country with integrity, courage and dedication by the Scout Oath and Law. This is only a start of greater achievements and service to be offered.

It is also in this same respect that we wish to express our heartfelt and deepest gratitude to Gregorio Perfecto High School to have offered up their campus to hold the Joint Scout Investiture.
