An irrigation dam constructed in the late 1970's to early 1980's by the marcos government intended for irrigating rice paddies in the barangays of Ilihan Norte, Pinyagan Norte, Pinyagan Sur, Pandan, Panaytayon, Panadtaran and Cahayag.

How to get to Nia Dam from Tubigon Public Market:
1.Ride a tricycle to Ilijan/Nia Dam (15 minutes)=₱30.00
2.Or ride a tricycle to Avelino Chagas Elementary School (8 minutes)=₱15.00
3.From Avelino Chagas Elem. School, take a walk (like what we did) to Nia Dam (20 minutes)... and that's it. That's just it! No entrance fee nor environmental fee. Just be responsible with your garbage.
