Young mothers may often delay or avoid prenatal check-ups due to fear, stigma, low awareness, and limited resources, and Sibulan is no exception. Access to quality prenatal care is essential, as it ensures the health and well-being of both mother and child. But for a young mother, judgment and uncertainty can be intimidating. With the launch of the Pregnancy Tracking and Prenatal Counselling Service Voucher Initiative, mothers not only have access to the usual prenatal services offered by the Barangay Health Station, but can also receive vouchers for transvaginal and pelvic ultrasounds, offering reassurance for their efforts. When communities implement initiatives that fit local needs, a culture of trust and empowerment is awakened. Know more about Sibulan's success story here.
