Valencia Colleges (Bukidnon), Inc. – Reserve Officers’ Training Corps Unit

Discipline begins with showing up, while excellence is built through learning. The VCI ROTC Unit successfully conducted its 2nd Formation and Cadet Orientation, equipping every cadet with the knowledge, values, and responsibilities expected of future citizen-soldiers. Under the guidance of CPT ALEJANDRO L LAROSA JR., PA (RES) and TSG Clint E Jacoba (INF) PA, the orientation emphasized leadership, discipline, teamwork, and commitment to service.

As we continue our ROTC journey, may this formation serve as a reminder that every lesson learned and every command followed strengthens our character and prepares us to become responsible leaders dedicated to serving God, country, and the community.

The ROTC Unit of Valencia Colleges (Bukidnon), Inc. successfully conducted its First Sunday Formation filled with discipline, determination, and dedication to excellence.

Every journey toward becoming a leader begins with a single step and today marks that unforgettable beginning. The first formation of the Valencia Colleges (Bukidnon), Inc. Reserve Officers’ Training Corps Unit symbolizes more than just assembling in ranks, it represents the start of a commitment to discipline, responsibility, honor, and selfless service to our country.

As each cadet stands proudly in formation, we embrace the values of courage, integrity, teamwork, and patriotism. This moment serves as the foundation of our growth as future leaders, reminding us that excellence is achieved through dedication, perseverance, and unity.

Success is earned through unwavering discipline, perseverance, and a commitment to lead with integrity. Today, we proudly recognize P2LT JOHNNYLIE GRACE MANGUBAT FLORITA PA, of Rocky Village, Poblacion, Pangantucan, Bukidnon, for achieving Rank 2 in OCC-ROTC Class 03 "TALAGILAB" 2026 a remarkable milestone that reflects her dedication to excellence and servant leadership.

A proud Bachelor of Science in Criminology graduate at Valencia Colleges (Bukidnon), Inc., P2LT Florita has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and professionalism throughout her journey. She served as the Battalion Commander of the VCI ROTC Unit during School Year 2023–2024, leading with courage, discipline, and a deep sense of responsibility. She also rendered outstanding service as the S1 Adjutant of the Criminology Intern Officers during School Year 2024–2025, further strengthening her leadership experience and organizational skills.

Her accomplishments extend beyond leadership positions. As a Civil Service Eligible, she has proven her competence and readiness for public service. She now continues to inspire her fellow officer candidates as the Battalion Executive Officer of OCC-ROTC Class 03 "TALAGILAB" 2026, embodying the values of honor, integrity, and selfless service in every responsibility entrusted to her.

Valencia Colleges (Bukidnon), Inc.

The VCI ROTC Unit conducted another productive Sunday Formation focused on polishing the cadets’ skills in the ex*****on of Manual of Arms and the performance of a Ceremonial Parade. The training aimed to enhance precision, coordination, and discipline essential qualities that reflect the professionalism and unity of every cadet in formation.

Through continuous practice, cadets refined their movements, timing, and synchronization, demonstrating mastery of commands and attention to detail. The Manual of Arms emphasized proper handling, respect, and control, while the Ceremonial Parade showcased teamwork, bearing, and the pride of representing the ROTC Unit with honor.

This activity highlighted the importance of dedication and perseverance in achieving excellence. More than just drills, it instills confidence, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility among cadets as they prepare to serve with integrity. Truly, every step and command executed reflects the ROTC’s mission of shaping competent, disciplined, and service-oriented leaders for God, country, and people.
