⚠️☣️ Building a Safer Community: HazMat Awareness Training Success! 🎉

Last Saturday, November 22, 2025, we successfully concluded our Hazardous Materials (HazMat) Awareness Training. It was an inspiring day dedicated to safety and readiness, bringing together a dedicated mix of volunteer groups, emergency responders, and firefighters all eager to upskill.

Why this training matters:
• Risk Identification: Developing the ability to quickly identify hazardous substances to ensure the safety of both responders and the public.
• Strategic Response: Learning the proper protocols for containment and initial mitigation during chemical emergencies.
• Confidence in Action: Equipping our team with the knowledge to make split-second, informed decisions in high-stakes environments.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made this event possible.
• Thank you to FREPACOM-RSAG and the Red Cross Valenzuela City Chapter for your partnership and collaboration,
• Kudos to our Project Lead Mr. August Villalon and the WISAR Metro North Chapter leadership for the excellent organization, and to Wilderness Search And Rescue Philippines - National for the continued support,
• A special thank you to FSupt Ma. Theresa Alqueza, City Fire Marshal of Valenzuela City, for supporting this seminar and inspiring our participants,
• And most especially to SFO1 Raymart de Guzman, for generously sharing his knowledge, expertise and practical know-how. Thank you, Sir!

Together, we are building a more resilient and prepared community! ⛑️
