UAP Catanduanes Chapter

The United Architects of the Philippines Catanduanes Chapter (UAP-CC) successfully held its General Membership Meeting this April, honored by the presence of Atty. Rene John Velasco of Velasco Law Office.

Despite feeling weak, and still recovering from illness, Atty. Velasco graciously shared his legal expertise with the members, demonstrating exceptional dedication to the profession. He delivered a comprehensive discussion on the legal foundations of architectural practice, particularly emphasizing the Supreme Court ruling that only registered and licensed architects are authorized to prepare, sign, and seal architectural plans.

Through his valuable insights, the members gained a deeper understanding of the architectural profession, the boundaries of practice, and the vital role of UAP-CC in upholding professional standards within our province.

Additionally, during the GMM, the chapter also discussed the upcoming activities of the UAP-CC this May. Procedures and strategies were carefully laid out to ensure the proper ex*****on of the planned events, setting the groundwork for the chapter’s future endeavors.
