AMAZON PPC AD TYPES

1) Sponsored ads

The results with sponsored tags.

2. Headline search ads (Sponsored brands)

Amazon selects the top 3 of your products depending on your bid and the relevancy of your keyword.

3. Product display ads/ banner ads (Sponsored Display)

Used for brand register sellers, also known as banner display ads. They will appear below the add to cart button on your listing page.

AMAZON PPC CAMPAIGN TYPE:

1. Automatic: Amazon itself fetches the keywords on the basis of your listing, therefore make your listing optimized so that the PPC ad runs effectively.

2. Manual: You will provide the keywords or products on which you want to run your PPC ad

CAMPAIGN BIDDING STRATEGY:

1. Dynamic Bid- Down only: Amazon ranks your product where the competition is low.

2. Dynamic Bid - up and down: amazon charge 100% of your bid fore.g., if you are biding on 1$ then amazon will charge a 2$ to up a bid in order to rank your product.

3. Fixed Bid: amazon shows ads on fixed keywords.

AMAZON KEYWORD MATCH TYPE:

Broad keyword match:

The search terms that are related to your keyword are known as broad keyword types. For e.g., if your keyword office desk and your user search term is office black color desk. The order of keywords can be changed in a broad keyword match.

Phrase match:

The order of your actual keyword cannot be changed but can consist of users’ various search terms. For e.g., if your keyword is office desk ad user type wooden office desk, office desk made from wood, office desk in black color, etc.

Exact match:

The exact keyword is used with no addition of keywords. The only exception is a preposition, singular, and plural. For e.g., if your keyword is office desk then office desks can also be targeted.

*ACOS: (Determine whether the campaign is profitable or not)Advertising cost of spending - the ideal ACOS is less than 20% that implies you are in profit, equal to 20% means no profit no loss and greater than 20% means you are in loss.

Practical :

Go to seller central dashboard of amazon > advertising > campaign manager > create a campaign
