"A successful Climate Change Awareness session was held at Government Boys High School Gupis, District Ghizer, with active participation from the students, contributing to the climate change mission. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Assistant Commissioner Gupis, Mr. Sadaqat Ali, for his full participation and insightful words on climate action. Special thanks to Mr. Umer Jan, Headmaster of the school, for his unwavering support and appreciation of the efforts by Planning & Development and GBRSP in addressing climate change. We are also grateful to Ms. Asiya Wahab, Tehsildar Gupis, an environmentalist by qualification, for her inspiring message urging students to work for a sustainable future. The students pledged to reduce littering and shared their commitment to climate action with their peers.

پلاننگ اینڈ ڈیولپمنٹ ڈیپارٹمنٹ (P&DD) کےتعاون سے گلگت بلتستان رورل سپورٹ پروگرام (GBRSP) نے GLOF-II پروجیکٹ کے تحت خپلو پبلک سکول خپلو گھانچے میں طلباء کو موسمیاتی تبدیلی کے بارے میں آگاہی سیشن منعقد کیا۔ گلگت بلتستان کے دس اضلاع کے تعلیمی اداروں (سکولوں اور کالجوں) میں طلباء و طالبات میں موسمیاتی تبدیلی کے بارے میں آگاہی سیشنز کا آغاز کیا گیا ہے۔ جسکا مقصد موسمیاتی تبدیلی کے بارے میں شعور اجاگر کرنا،طلباء کو آنے والے چیلینجز سے نمٹنے کے لئے تیار کرنا اور ماحولیاتی تحفظ کے کلچر کو فروغ دینا ہے۔ موسمیاتی تبدیلی کے اثرات کو سمجھنے اور اپنی کمیونیٹی میں ان کے اثرات کو کم کرنے کے لیے طلباء کو آگاہیدی گئی ۔ اس اقدام کا کامیاب آغاز بلتستان ڈویژن سے ہو چکا ہے۔
