Codesty Games
Codesty Games Studio is My Indie Game Dream focusing on just me alone right now.

This slowed me down more than any bug.
I didn’t get stuck because of coding…
I got stuck because I couldn’t decide how things should *look*.
While working on my tycoon game, I reached a point where I needed to show resources in-game.
Simple problem, right?
Not really.
My system uses real units (kg), and suddenly I found myself overthinking everything:
Should I create detailed assets?
Should I just show numbers?
Should it feel realistic or game-like?
No bugs. No crashes.
Just… stuck.
At some point, I realized I was delaying real progress for something that doesn’t even matter *right now*.
So I made a call:
Forget visuals (for now).
I’m using simple placeholder blocks and focusing on getting the systems working.
Not pretty. But moving forward.
Sometimes the hardest part isn’t building…
It’s knowing when to stop thinking and just continue.
Has something small ever completely slowed you down like this?

One thing I realized while working on this system:
The more everything is connected, the harder it becomes to manage.
At first it looked simple, but as different parts started interacting, things became more complex than expected.
So I started keeping things a bit more separated, letting each part handle its own responsibility.
It’s still early, but it already feels easier to work with.
Have you ever faced something like this while building something?

Eid Mubarak.
But today, this greeting feels heavy.
While many of us gather with our families, wear new clothes, and share smiles, there are Muslims around the world who are not celebrating, not because they choose not to, but because they cannot.
They have been displaced from their homes.
They have lost their safety, their loved ones, their sense of belonging, simply because they are Muslims.
For them, Eid is not a day of joy.
It is a reminder of what has been taken away.
This forces us to ask a difficult question:
Can we truly call it Eid for the Ummah, when parts of the Ummah are in pain?
Eid is not just celebration.
It is unity.
It is standing with those who are suffering.
It is remembering that their pain is not separate from us.
As we celebrate, may we not become distant from their reality.
May we carry them in our prayers, our hearts, and our actions.
Eid Mubarak, and may Allah bring justice, safety, and dignity to those who need it the most.
