Modern Classical House Designed for Mr. Murad Shabbir in Zaraj Housing Society, Islamabad, this residence represents a refined balance between timeless classical architecture and contemporary living needs. The elevation is defined by precise symmetry, featuring a light-colored palette punctuated by elegant wrought-iron balconies and a prominent central circular window that anchors the upper volume. Stately white columns and warm wooden pergolas frame the entrance, adding layers of character while creating a welcoming transition between the street and the home.

Interior Strategy: A common challenge with deep 1 Kanal plots is maintaining adequate natural light in the central core. Our solution centers on a central atrium and strategically placed skylights, which are already successfully channeling daylight into the heart of the house as seen in the site progress.

The interior zoning moves away from rigid partitions, using flooring inlays and ceiling treatments to define the Drawing Room, Dining, and Lounge areas while maintaining an open visual flow.

Construction Update: Work at the site has reached a critical junction with the substantial completion of the grey structure. The poured concrete and masonry works now clearly delineate the building's massing, confirming the rigid symmetry required for this design.

Facade Details: The cantilevered pergolas and the central circular arch have been executed with precision, aligning perfectly with the elevation drawings.

Next Phase: With the structure structurally in place, our focus shifts to electrical conduits and plumbing infrastructure before internal plaster works begin.

Mall of Khyber in Peshawar is a landmark mixed-use development that blends contemporary architecture with the city’s rich cultural heritage. The exterior features a grounded retail podium topped by an office and residential tower, balancing mass and articulation. The material palette and façade respond to the local climate, creating a dynamic play of shadow and texture while adding rhythm and verticality to the skyline.

The main entrance provides a welcoming threshold, with textured materials and layered lighting guiding visitors into the building.

At the heart of the mall, the food court is reimagined as a cultural corridor inspired by Peshawar’s Kissa Khani Bazaar. Wooden stall façades crafted by master artisans celebrate local culinary heritage, while legendary shop owners ensure authentic flavors. The design encourages social interaction and immersion.

A central aquarium acts as a biophilic spine, bringing calm and engagement to the space. Corridors and the main atrium are conceived as galleries, with suspended sculptural elements and natural light animating the volumes. Integrated lighting transforms the atrium into a luminous lantern after dark.

Interactive zones, miniature aquariums, and custom kiosks with seating and planters create micro-environments that invite pause and exploration. Subtle flooring patterns, ambient lighting, and embedded wayfinding make circulation intuitive, turning the mall into an experience that connects heritage, community, and modern design.

Canopy Villa, a 1 Kanal residence in DHA Phase 2, Islamabad, makes a bold statement with its modern façade. The large folding roofline, or “Canopy,” is both aesthetic and climate-responsive, creating floating volumes while maximizing natural light and maintaining privacy. Light stone cladding with dark accents gives the home a contemporary, timeless presence. On-site progress shows the structure gradually taking shape, with skylight framing and material transitions aligning with the design intent.

Inside, the double-height foyer breaks the “tunnel effect” of narrow plots. The central void connects family areas vertically, creating grandeur, while a skylight and indoor vegetation introduce a micro-climate and warmth.
The lounge opens with calm, balanced proportions. Soft natural light filters through crafted openings, while textured elements add depth, maintaining minimalism and refinement.

The kitchen and dining areas form the social heart of the home. The main kitchen features a sleek high-gloss finish and a central island for entertaining, with fully integrated appliances. The dining room adds warmth and contrast with burnt orange velvet chairs, while a compact first-floor kitchen serves the family lounge above.

The staircase lobby becomes a sculptural experience, with a skylight illuminating floating stairs, a sculptural art piece at the landing, and glass railings maintaining transparency across floors.

The drawing room balances formality with warmth, featuring floor-to-ceiling glazing, soft linens, a neutral palette, and ambient lighting for an inviting space.
