A mirror in a Pakistani home is never just a mirror. It’s the last check before leaving. It’s fixing a dupatta. Straightening a collar. It’s wedding mornings and everyday mornings in the same frame.

I made the Parda Mirror Panel to hold that ritual without making it heavy. Carved like an old panel, but used like a modern object.

A mirror that feels like it belongs, even when the room changes around it.

Every Pakistani home has had some version of it: a small shelf with the Qur’an, school books, a dictionary, a few important papers. Not arranged for show, just placed where you can reach them.

I made the Daftar Shelf with that same intention. A simple ledge for the things you keep returning to. The books you’re reading slowly. The notebooks you’re still inside. It holds weight without feeling heavy. It keeps your room clear, but keeps your work close.
