12-member team of young Shimshali climbers, including 2 girls, summit unclimbed majestic Passu Cones (6,106m).
The team had earlier planned to scale the peak on Pakistan's Independence Day 14th August.
According to sources, the weather forecast forced them to summit the peak today, a day before Pakistan celebrates its independence day.
