We're proud to support the first responders who keep our communities safe every day.

Our SW Appalachia team recently hosted local emergency management agencies from across the Ohio Valley at our Wheeling, WV office — touring an active rig, sharing safety practices and strengthening the partnerships that matter most when it counts.

We were honored to present six organizations with $20,000 each to support local emergency response capabilities. These funds were raised through our annual charity clay shoot in partnership with the United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley:

Wetzel County EMA
Monroe County EMA
Monroe County Sheriff's Office

As Community Affairs Manager Stephanie Paluda put it: "These agencies are on the front lines of protecting our communities every day. By working together and sharing knowledge, we can strengthen emergency preparedness and ensure the safety of our employees, our neighbors, and the region as a whole."

Our partnership with Lackawanna College's School of Petroleum & Natural Gas (PNG) is about more than education — it's about creating opportunity in the PA communities where we live and work. From donating equipment for hands-on training to instructing students in the classroom, our team shows up.

Four Expand Energy employees teach at Lackawanna College. Ten Lackawanna graduates work on our NE App team. And this summer, we have welcomed four PNG interns to the field.
