π’ Labour Day 2025 | A Legal Tribute to the Working Class π΅π°
At Mahboob Rizvi Law Associates, we proudly join the nation in honoring the resilience and contributions of Pakistanβs workforce on this .
π οΈ May 1st is not just a holiday β it is a reminder of the ongoing struggle for fair wages, safe working conditions, and dignity at work. While Pakistan's labour laws offer protection on paper, millions of workers β especially in the informal sector β remain beyond the reach of these rights.
π Our legal system enshrines:
The right to form unions (Article 17),
Protection from forced labour (Article 11),
Equality before law (Article 25),
And safeguards through acts like the Factories Act, IRA, and more.
Yet, enforcement remains a challenge.
πΌ At Mahboob Rizvi Law Associates, we stand by both employers and employees: β
Helping businesses stay compliant with labour laws,
β
Advocating for fair treatment and lawful termination,
β
Providing legal recourse to workers in distress,
β
And pushing for reform where the system falls short.
This , we reaffirm our commitment to justice, equity, and a balanced legal framework for all.
