While working as a general physician, I observed people have a very wrong perception of their health. I noticed this improper understanding and lack of knowledge is creating many issues like self-diagnosis and self-treatment, non-compliance to medication, irresponsible behavior towards health and poor lifestyle patterns.

Unfortunately, there are very few dedicated platforms in Pakistan to guide people about their health issues and clear their misunderstandings.

I realized in the era of digital media, where access to a phone is more convenient than to a doctor, there is a very strong need to address these issues digitally. I created DocExplain to simplify medical knowledge into blogs that are easy to access, informative and answer the health-related queries.

Available in Urdu and English language, Doc Explain is a health and wellness blog started with the purpose to spread awareness and clear misconceptions regarding health.
